Kids In the Kitchen...

For the last few weeks a new thing in our house has been that each of the kids has their day of the week to be my "dinner helper". One kid to each of the 5 weekdays, so that works out and they each get to help once a week. They love it of course, and are so proud of whatever they make, even if it's pancakes or grilled cheese sandwiches.
So far Lexxi is the only one I've remembered to grab the camera with, but I'll get some of the other kids in the coming weeks...

Here's Lexx in all her Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo-making glory... She helped cook and chop the chicken, boiled the noodles, put in all the sauce ingredients and stirred it to creamy perfection.


It turned out delicious.
