We made it through the first day of school yesterday, it was pretty cool actually. The kids' favorite part of course was art. I am liking this program even more than I expected.
I sit in awe after looking at your blog. Its amazing, inspiring and fun to read. You are such a good Mom, very creative and well organized. Thats part of why you'll do great with the home school. I always look to you for good ideas and mothering skills. Thanks for being such a good example. I don't know how you do it all. I hope to be more like you. :)
Well, I have to say that I am intrigued by the chance to homeschool my kids to some degree. I think I would like to have them for half of the day in order to teach them the things that I think are important and that I know the school would do a terrible job of. Mostly that would be math and math related science. I am telling you that math is sooo powerful. I think that as soon as kids learn multiplication and division then they should be learning basic algebra right away. From then on out there should be no delay of progression from there to advanced calculus (over a period of several years of course).
