Happy 8th Boo!

Miss Boo had a birthday, the big #8! What a fun girl she is to have in our family. 

She loves to laugh and adds so much joy to our lives. I'm so thankful for her and for her fun personality and for what a help she is to me with her little brothers...
She just loves babies and is so good with all her baby cousins too.

Age 1 1/2 or so here, how I loved those pigtails. 

Camping and S'mores....such a cute little girl, I can still hear her adorable little giggle when I look at this picture.

This one sums up what she was like as a preschooler....curious, fun, spontaneous, a little kooky sometimes, and so full of energy and zest for life. She loved to get herself dressed, she always loved stripes and colorful clothes, changed several times a day, and usually wore two very mismatched colorful socks, though in this picture they match...and how she loved those purple Care Bear shoes that lit up as she walked...

Her cake was decorated like a present, she picked rainbow everything -- rainbow chip cake, rainbow chip frosting, M&M's to make a rainbow ribbon around the 4 sides, and different colors of airhead taffies folded to make the rainbow bow on top. She had fun helping make it, though she had to replace M&M's that got pulled off by little brother fingers a few times throughout the day...
