Playing in that snow...

The kids got out and played in all that snow.... there's still more coming tomorrow and Saturday...

I couldn't open the sliding door so I helped the girls out one of the downstairs windows so they could shovel off the patio and the boys could come out and play. What good sisters. As you can see, it was a great burden to them ;).

Deacon had a ton of fun...for about 10 minutes. Then his little glove came off and he threw snow with his bare hand a few times, and was ready to come in.
He came in and after some kisses (including the chocolate kind) and some coloring, he felt better.
The rest of the kids played for about an hour, then even my die-hard's Lexxi and Levi wanted to come back in for some chicken noodle soup and goldfish crackers. So for the rest of the day we just kicked back, watched some Horton Hears a Who, I made a few baby blankets, and we just did inside stuff.

No plans to go anywhere for probably a few days, I'm thankful for a warm cozy house to last out this weather in.... I just hope we don't get snowed in too long.

The snow was up to my thighs in the road when I took this picture.

WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!! I haven't seen snow like that since we lived in Washington all those years ago (except one time in Montana at the cabin we got that much) That reminds me of when we were kids. How fun for you kids and how fun to have the excuse to go no where and just enjoy the season!

Hey guys...
It looks like fun but I'm glad I'm sitting in front of a fan with the AC on 70. Just trying to stay "COOL". It was 82 here today in "NICE, WARM" sunny Florida.
