My Brother, The Leprechaun

Today is St. Patty's Day, and also my (not so) little brother John's birthday. He's always been the cleverist and luckiest of us, must be the birthday.
But seriously, as a kid, whenever we went places like the fair or something, he'd always find a $20 bill laying on the ground.
He is the smartest guy I know too, and currently attending UCSB and nearly has his Master's in Chemical Engineering. He's always been the family brain.

When we were little, there was this U.S. states puzzle that we had, and every state was its own separate puzzle piece. My older brother Jarom and I would sit and put that thing together, concentrating hard for like an hour. Then we'd be all proud of ourselves that we did it and we'd pull it apart and put it back in its bag.
...then John would come along, pick up the bag full of pieces, and sit down and put the thing together in like seriously less than 5 minutes. Jarom and I would just look at each other and raise our eyebrows and shake our heads...

Love him though, I have tons of great memories growing up with this kid. Like this one time we went out in the garden and decided to cover ourselves in mud, then walked up to the back sliding door where my mom was on the phone, and we were just big brown blobs with white smiles. I wish my mom had gotten a picture of that.

What a handsome little guy...

Playing My Little Ponies with Lexxi....  She put those pretty necklaces on him too.

John and his wife, Karen. She's of course extremely smart too.
My kids love him too.Happy Birthday John!

Thank you very much Stephani, it really means a lot to me. I only wish that I was around to create new memories too. Good luck making it to term, I love you.

You're welcome. :)
Wish you were closer too, or actually, wish I was closer to you. It snowed 6 times today! Bet it was like 75 degrees down there in Cali.

Wow! I can't believe how much those older pictures you posted reminded me of when we were kids. That is how I remember your family. Happy Birthday to John!!

I like the bike picture. "You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?"
