Ahh, 4 1/2 straight days of sunshine....Wasn't it wonderful? We got out and soaked it up, lathered on the sunscreen, ate every meal and snack outside, and even played in the sprinkler. Hope there'll be more of that bright warm stuff on the way again soon!
I love the looks on your boys' faces..it makes me want to put on some shorts and go sunbathing. =) I can feel the happiness radiating from them, and I can only imagine how nice it must feel for you too. =) We get sunshine off and on...but I am so excited for the sunny weather to stay and the green to show up all the way. i miss Coeur d' Alene for that reason, it is always so green and the mountains are so beautiful. =) I love you Stephani.
Yeah, I complain about the weather around here a lot, but I do have to admit that Coeur d'Alene is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been once this time of year hits again. It's been interesting to live here and only a little north of Spokane and yet get so much more snow, but the lake and the parks and all the green really is so beautiful, just wish it lasted longer! :)
I agree with you about that. It always seemed that the snow took longer to leave up there. But the green and trees always made it worth it. I love the memories of going to CDA when we were kids and driving over there...the part of the highway between post falls and CDA when you get to right before the Northwest BLVD exit is sooo gorgeous in the summer with all of the trees in the middle of the road and i remember loving to drive through there when we were kids and it just meant we were almost to the beach. =) Good memories.
