Birthday Wishes to Mom and Ty

Happy Birthday to my Mom and my youngest brother Ty, who share a birthday today. 

I cannot believe Ty is 13!!!! I sure miss that kid. So do my kids, as I said before they pretty much idolize him. 

Ty has a very special place in my heart because I took care of him a lot when he was a baby and little guy. He was born when I was 16, to my mom and her second husband. He is half Native American; his dad is Lakota Sioux. I took care of him daily from when he was 6 weeks old until he was 3 years old, while my mom worked.

He has always been a smiley energetic kid with tons of personality. I can still see him in my mind as a little baby with dark chocolate-drop eyes rimmed with long long eyelashes and cute little cheeks that dimpled when he smiled. 

Miss ya Ty. Happy Birthday, we Love you!

One of my all-time fav photos of my Mom and Deacon... Mom and Ty, summer '08... Ty being his goofy self, he spent the night at our house but needed p.j.'s, so I gave him this shirt of mine to be funny, it's a care bear shirt that says "Cute when Grumpy".... he was a good sport and let me take a picture. Then he wore my "Vote for Pedro" shirt instead since it was more manly. Ty...playing frisbee with Damon and showing off his skills... Recent one of Mom and Braden, May '09... Girls' night out with my mom and sis's summer '07....this is Mel, Miss, Em, & Mom.... Mother's Day '07 we went out as kids (those of us who at the time lived near enough) with Mom for dinner at Rocky Rococo's Pizza and played around downtown Spokane, that was fun. A few birthdays ago... Look at all those candles, and to think that's been a few years! (just teasin you Mom)
