He got into the box of winter stuff.... on a 90 degree day.
On Wednesday I just felt so tired. After lunch the kids were all being good watching PBS so Braden and I sat on my recliner to relax, but I ended up falling asleep for 2 hours. When I woke up everyone was still there on the couch around me, except for Deacon.
I got up to look for him and couldn't find him anywhere. Just as I started to panic, Bri called me from the toy room to come see this.... him sound asleep in the dress-up clothes tote.
"Put 'em up, Sammich!"
"Do I wook beautifuw Mommy?"
I have mentioned before this trouble with having big sisters, right?

This kid loves to stand on the window sill in the dining room and talk to all the "buh-dies" (birdies) out in the yard as they peck for worms and eat leftover children's sandwich crusts.

Found George, Isaac's monkey that has been claimed by Levi, sitting on the counter like this guarding the microwave. Thanks George. In our house it does need guarding.
Yep, you're right Isaac. The bumbo seat does work well as one of those war helmets that cover the nose like on Lord of the Rings....
My Birthday dinner. I turned the big 2-9 this week. I'm really not too afraid of my 30's approaching. I think.
This year instead of cake I had a big fruit pizza. Sugar cookie crust, orange-cream cheese frosting spread, topped with layers of yummy fresh fruit. It was pretty fun to make.
The kids made me a sweet birthday card, and Lexxi even got creative and made a magnetic fishing pole that I used to pull the card out with....smartie pants.
And Bri made me this lovely necklace. What sweet kids and how I treasure these gifts.

I'm glad you had a good birthday. I get a kick out of the pictures your kids are inventive and fun. The "war helmet" one was among my favorites.
why haven't i ever seen that horse suit?! i was laughing so hard at those pictures haha. by the way, that playlist thing you have on here is sooo cool. i sat here for like an hour figuring out how to play two of the songs.. good choices :) love you!

Happy birthday girl! I totally remember dressing Mike up as a baby girl and used him as my doll...LOL I didn't have a sister and I deeply wanted one LOL :) Oh the things little brother have to go through :)
