At the very intellectual and much more mature age of 9, her favorites are:
-pineapple pizza
-blue
-playing with friends
-Mary and Daniel, her stuffed rabbits
-computer games
-remote control cars
-vanilla cake
-strawberry ice cream
-riding her bike
-writing in her 'secret notebook'
-shorts and t-shirts over dresses any day but loves "princess" stuff
-playing basketball
-doing "funny shows" for her little brothers, who think she's the most hilarious person on the planet
-holding and playing with Baby Braden
-staying up late to talk and giggle with her big sister
-going to the dentist (those kids' dental places have come a long way from what I remember as a kid, as evidenced by the fact my kids ASK to go to the dentist)
Happy 9th Birthday Lexxi-Boo!!!!!!!!!
No, I didn't make her cake, my oven's still broken. That is a lovely oh-so-chocolate cake from the highly acclaimed decorators at Fred Meyer... or something like that.

She had some friends over for a fancy little birthday luncheon on the front porch. I helped set up and take dishes, but other than that they wanted to be like grown-ups meeting for a lunch and I wasn't to interfere at all.

Their guests are on the way... and it was really quite warm out, though Lexx wanted to wear her new coat. He really wanted that camera.

Sure love having this girl in our family. :)

Awhh, I can't believe how fast this girl grew up! I still remember her falling off stools at the apartment on McDonald. Just a toddler then. What a beautiful girl, almost lady now. :) Lexxi is such a fun loving girl. I've always wanted to be extra fun and special to her, I've tried hard over the years. She really is a joy to have in our family. I'm glad she got to have a fun "grown up" party for her Birthday. Is your oven fixed yet?! That does not sound fun at all.
Happy birthday!!!!
That cake was really rich. It was hard to eat, but we liked it.
