December 4th already.... the Christmas countdown has officially begun.

Levi woke me up Monday morning to inform me he had thrown up all over the stairs. As I got out the steam cleaner, he projectiled a few more puddles for me in the upstairs hallway and by my bedroom door. Poor kid. I got him in the bath, then made him live in the bathroom with a bowl for the next hour and a half while I steam cleaned. I just kept telling myself I'd been needing an excuse to clean the upstairs carpets...

Tuesday morning he was feeling better, and I had an appointment to take him and Braden to. He was cranky though from being sick, and so he kept up a perfect scowl the entire hour we were there, saying "No!"every time I asked him anything. I decided to be quiet and let him have his moment, so he started saying, "Noo! No to everything!" I was a bit exasperated by the time we left....

Wednesday and Thursday were so beautiful we had to get out of the house. I took the kids to the park. It was cold! but beautiful, and I get such satisfaction from watching my kids play on a playground. When we were done it was getting dark so we drove around and looked at Christmas lights and tuned in to the holiday music. That was fun. Except Deacon was so tired that one minute he was excitedly telling me how beautiful all the lights were and thanking me for showing him, then the next minute he was screaming that he didn't want to talk to anybody(!) and in another 3 minutes he was zonked. Oh the joys...

So I guess that brings me to today. It's Friday, we're just taking it easy. The girls are working on Spanish, the boys are eating popcorn and watching a movie.

Wretched Tuesday.

Isaac's glasses, aka Deacon demolition project. We had them about a week... Luckily the vision center got them replaced the very next day.

Boy that Braden kid is something else. Aren't you glad you didn't marry one of those guys you grew up with? Who knows what your kids would have looked like :)

(So hey Santa, even though I'm on your naughty list because I don't let my kids even believe in you) This just cracked me up. I am one of those moms on the naughty list because of the same thing. Hope your Holidays are going great! Miss ya.
