Today....

-Isaac sang everything he said all morning to the tune of the Star Wars theme song...
-Deacon and I were driving, and he asked me, "Mommy, are we going forward or backward?" and when I replied "forward" he said, "That's great, forward's a "percfet" number Mommy."...
-While out shopping with me, Deacon sang songs at the top of his lungs while sitting in the cart playing with a "golden treasure box", to the entertainment of many passersby, particularly pulling big smiles out of any and all elderly folk.
-Braden does this new thing lately where he screws up his face into the most pitiful expression you can imagine and pretends to cry, then looks at you through his squinted eyes, and upon seeing any reaction will immediately smile or giggle, then do it all over again....
-At church I was reminded the quote, "Find joy in the journey." and I just needed to hear it.

The last few weeks....
-Kids caught a puke bug. I pictured just setting a bomb off  as we all drove away.

I was so happy to see that week gone. Of course, not even a puke bug can keep this kid down. His spunky attitude is endless...

I tried to get some of my own spunk back and poured a few ingredients into the bread machine. It is so amazing how the smell of baking bread can lift the spirits...

-The boys and I took the van to the car wash, because they'd been begging to. We always go to the one with the free tootsie pops. Here they are as we just pulled in, happily eating their suckers.

Then the machine got going, and Deacon's eyes grew wide as he said, "Mommy I don't wike this caw wash."  I told him it is just a loud machine but are okay and we will come out nice and clean. He felt better.

-The girls and Melissa and I had a girls night out and went to the KROC center for the CYT performance of Sleeping Beauty last Friday night. Fun fun.

-And a few nights ago Bri and Lexxi had their final showcase for this session of CYT. They were both in a few cute little skits and did a great job. They've really had fun with this.

Here is Levi "using the force" to help knock down his pins in wii bowling...

Oh I love that round little Casper head. How is it that his first birthday is already right around the corner!?

-Levi and Braden were sitting so sweetly, and as soon as I pulled out the camera Deacon bounced up and joined them...
-Deacon and his "sholdiers" having battles at bath time...

-and Miss Lexxi-Boo teaching Braden to push his ABC's....

I love your pictures Stephani your kids are so cute and they have grown up so fast. I can't believe Braden is a year old almost either. I'm glad you had a fun time with your girls that's awesome and it does look like they had fun.
