He tries anew every day to open the kitchen cupboards, usually yanking on them over and over, one at a time, determined to discover the secret to being able to access the canisters of sugar and all those boxes full of noodles.

Venturing into walking, and trying to kick that soccer ball.

This past week the boys found the tote full of baby dolls. The girls haven't played with them in a while, and I was considering putting the tote in the yard sale pile out in the garage. But then I found Deacon like this, loving them and playing with them, pretending to feed and diaper them, wrapping them in blankets and putting them down for "naps". Love it.
He will not, however, allow me to put any dresses on them or girlie clothes. And he has named this one "Lee-da-ar-do". Just like the one and only ninja turtle.
How fun to have big brothers who want nothing more than to constantly make you smile and laugh.
Yes, this is my 1-year-old, doing his best to copy his big brothers and playing wii tennis.

That's awesome to see Deacon able to play with a doll but putting his own male spin to it. I love seeing that kudos to you and Aaron for letting him play with what he wants to as long as it won't hurt him. Braden is getting so big and cuter by the day.
