Some stuff

Some interesting things about today:

~On the way home from the bank Isaac asked me how anyone would know if we were going faster than the speed limit. I explained to him about cops and their nifty radar guns. All the boys thought that sounded totally cool, and said they want to be cops and shoot people to see how fast they're going. Clarification ensued.

~Deacon asked me if I would make him big faster, and then buy him an "orange speed car with a rocket shooter on the front to kill bad guys." ......maybe too much Ben Ten.

~I asked Levi to pick up a few toys that were in the living room, and he asked exasperatedly, "Why do you always make us do all the work?".  I asked him, "You don't think Mom does any work?" to which he rolled his eyes and said, "Well, you do some stuff."

~Took the boys to the park, it was a gorgeous 76 degrees today. We met Miss and her boys. While there, a lady from the Spokesman Review came up and asked Miss and I if we would be willing to answer a question, to be posted in the community insert of the paper. We agreed, she then asked us each the very profoundly important, potentially world-changing question:
"If you could be a circus performer, what would you be?"... and I said ... a lion tamer.
