*Levi and Deacon have been favoring the straw skirt for playing dress-up. Levi will wear it with the straw hat and super cape and claim he is "Super Skirt Cowboy Levi".... (and for the record Levi, you asked me to take this picture.)
....then Deacon puts it on, along with the reindeer antlers, and seems to think it's an apron, as he runs around saying over and over, "I'll be right there Mrs. Dunwitty". So funny. (if you've ever seen the Disney movie Treasure Planet, you recognize that line.)
*Deacon dresses up in something every single day. And changes his name almost every single day. He has been "Super Deacon", "Jump Deacon", "SuperMan", "Super Big Helper Deacon", and "Doctor Deacon" among others this past week. He also insisted on going places in this outfit below a few times, claiming that wearing one boot and one slipper gives him super powers. And lately he's been insisting on wearing his pj's during the day, and his clothes to bed at night.
Oh, and his famous line lately. Whenever we tell him no to anything, he replies, "Please? Just one?" or "Just one time?" with his big blue eyes open and pleading so sweetly. As if just one ice cream cone is not asking for the same thing or just playing wii one time is going to make it more negotiable...

*Lexx had her end of the month auction in class last Friday, where they get to use their "good" tickets to bid on items the teacher has for auction. She ended up with the highest bid on the highly sought after soda pop making kit, and was excited to spend her time after school creating her own homemade soda. She said they were super fizzy, and some were pretty sour.

Your kids are super cute I love the dress up pictures. I think it's great that you have let your kids be kids and let them have an imagination. Good for Aaron that is awesome!! Kids are growing up too fast now a days as it is. What happened to kids just being kids. Yesterday on the bus to my friends house I saw a pregnant kid that looked no older than 14 and she had another in a stroller. I also saw a girl about 9 or 10 dressed in makeup riding the bus alone with her little brother and older friend. I really don't know what the world is coming to. I am so glad you and Aaron just let your kids be kids and that you pay attention to all that is going on with them. That is a good way to be.
Cute kids. Your two older girls look just like you at first glance. Dabriah looked so OLD to me, even though she's the same age as Amanda -- I should have figured it out! Oh yeah! I finally signed up to sign IN to your blog. LOL
What a wonderful imagination! I LOVE all those photos! I need to take the kids' spring photos...Just waiting for a nice day to come. :)
