July 26th was my 30th birthday.
I am officially 3 whole decades old.
That's really not that many.... I for one thought it would feel like sooo much more.
We spent the day on the lake.
Monday morning we rose early, packed up life vests, and drove the hour to Bottle Bay Marina to rent a boat.
We explored the lake, stopped to jump in and swim several times, took lots of pictures and a few funny videos, and ate good food all day. It was one of the better birthdays I've had.
Even the little guys jumped in. Lake Pend Orielle is sooo deep. You just have to not think about it…

Swimming and snacking....
He ended up pulling that binky out of his mouth and throwing it overboard when he got mad about something. Little stinker.
After lunch and a nice cool dip in the lake, Deacon started looking sleepy....
And then all within minutes of each other, each one dozed off till they were all sleeping....
Except for this one.
So he got to drive the boat.
Once everyone woke up, more swimming.
Then of course after Levi bragged sufficiently about getting to drive the boat, each of the kids had to have a turn.
My thinker, Isaac, full of questions about what all the different dials do.

What a fun idea for your birthday!! Loved all the pictures! You guys captured some great shots!! I think I know what I want to do for my birthday next year ;-)
Oh wow! Sounds like you had a wonderful 30th! What a wonderful memory! Those photos are just amazing, I really LOVE the ones that Briah took of you playing with Braden they capture such a wonderful woman and mother.
