It's been a nice productive morning. After two days of that gorgeous radiant sunshine, it is pouring rain again. But the plus side to that is, I got a lot done. When I'm stuck inside I cannot endure the company of a mess.
So, dishes: check....kitchen counters/ cupboards/ floors: check.... four big loads of laundry: check.... upstairs bathrooms scrubbed and polished: check.... boys' toilet unclogged: check... I hope.
All before 10 a.m.

I was totally on a roll.
Then I lost track of the time and forgot to meet Levi's bus. Ah! So I had to load up my little boys in the sloshy rain and drive to the school and pick him up.
Sorry Levi. Thanks for not even getting mad at me. You know, between us, everyone at that school's gonna know your name by the end of the year.


Yesterday I was upstairs Levi and Deacon each kept coming up to alternately tattle on the other and ask me for things I'd already told them no about. Finally as Levi was at my door whining yet again, I told him that the next one of he or Deacon that came up and bugged me was going to go in their room, scrub it spotless, and stay there until dinner time. He turned and left, and as he sauntered past the kitchen I heard him say, just barely audible and a little too sweetly, "Uh hey Deacon, Mom wants you."
Classic.
