Glimpses of six children, too much food, and even more snow...
Thanksgiving 2010:
The girls making the banana nilla wafer dessert....
This kid really wanted those cookies.
He wanted me to open them for him....
But I kept taking pictures.... which made him mad....
So in frustration, he threw the whole box.
Then he looked at me, and when I raised my eyebrows, he laughed.
Stinker.
We relaxed and watched some movies while the turkey was roasting...
Toy Story 3, How to Train Your Dragon, and
The Christmas Carol.
The Thanksgiving table this year...
Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, corn, deviled eggs, crescent rolls, homemade cherry-cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, veggie tray, olives, jello fruit salad, nilla wafer dessert, apple pie, and egg nog. whew.
But on the plus side, I haven't needed to cook again yet since. Thank-you leftovers.
After dinner...
Digesting by the fireplace.
The kids and all that Thanksgiving snow....
And some inside fun to warm up...
We happily skipped black Friday, but Bri and I did go late night shopping on Saturday, and had way more fun than one would think possible just picking out wrapping paper and some snow boots...
