Isaac, you are 8!
Your birthday present lasted all week long this year, lucky boy.
I decided to surprise you with the opportunity to attend Camp Invention, a science camp where you participated in fun learning modules from 9 to 3:30 for five straight days.
When you found out where you were going the first morning, you were SO excited.
You are so fascinated with how everything works, and the depth to your thinking often blows me away.
I knew this would be just your kind of thing.
I sent Lexxi with you, since you two are buds, and you both had a really good time!
Your birthday was filled with sliding on the water slide, ice-cold slushies, water balloon fights, your choice of homemade pizza, the lovely dirt pudding worm cake you requested this year, and a shopping date with mom where you picked out some fun things with your birthday money.
You said many times throughout the week, "this is the best birthday ever!"
I love you so much Isaac!
Ready to crush those cookies!
You lost one of your two loose front teeth on Saturday, and almost pulled out the other on Sunday, but to date you are still a cute little snaggletooth.
Someone else was very helpful with your cake.
Finished product. Worm cake, yummmy.
Chocolate cake, covered in dirt pudding, and filled with worms.
Just as you requested.
The first bowl full of balloons.
Ready....
Go!
(and then I ran back in the house to protect my camera.
Lighting those candles...
Hope that wish comes true!
Happy 8th Birthday Isaac!

Looks like a lot of fun. That cake looked good too.
LOVE that picture of Braden flying in the air! So adorable. Man I wish that I can be an awesome Mom to my kids like you are to yours...you are so creative!!
And the two pics that you posted of you are A-DOR-A-BLE!!! You are so beautiful! Can't believe that you've had 6 kids...you definitely have your Mom's genes! I look like I've had 6, but I barely have One! ;o)
And as always, LOVE your entries & photos! One day I'll get the camera of my dreams...maybe by the end of this year when all of the chaos of a new baby & new house settles down... ;o)
