May was a very full month :
-CYT dance classes and showcase.
-Play rehearsals and more play rehearsals.
-12 (Amazing!) performances of Tom Sawyer. (I loved this one! So fun.)
-A brand new nephew, little Mr. Chase Jasper, who was born on Cinco de Mayo to my lovely sister Melissa. I got to enjoy him for a full hour of snugly newborn cuddling when he accompanied his mom and I to the play.
-Lots and lots of late-night studying, ugh...
-Huckleberry playland playing (for the boys while the girls were doing Tom Sawyer)
-Marimbas practices plus a performance by Lexxi
-the Writing Carnival at school (Lexxi wrote beautiful poetry. Of which, she had an entire poem of tongue twisters for every letter in the alphabet. For "M" she wrote of you my dear Melissa, for sure my favorite line, "Melissa Makes Muffler Muffins." haha
-Another of my lovely sisters, Emily May was married to the wonderful addition to our family, Bryce. Congrats you two!!
-Trying to plant a garden (dang uncooperative weather)
-Plus more I can't think of at the moment...
-plus all the usual.
No one will admit to drawing this lovely picture I found in the silverware drawer, but I'm quite sure it's meant to be me... wild crazy look and jagged teeth...
This one is living up to being two!
Some fun outside.
He always starts out peacefully napping, then wakes up just in time to steal my treats or demand one of his own.
And for anyone who thinks crewing for a play is an easy task.
Here's Miss Boo trying to do her math homework after rehearsal one night.
These girls had so much fun, but boy were they tired.
So now it's June, today was Bri's last day of school and the other kids will be done on Friday. The sun came out finally this past weekend and brought the temperatures up by about 30 degrees. We stayed home, pulled out some summer fun, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
