Schweitzer & Huckleberries 2011

We couldn't have picked a better weekend for Schweitzer this year; it was beautiful.

We stayed at the same condo as last year, Bear Grass.

Between us we picked a full gallon of huckleberries, then headed up to the condo for dinner, a night with the original Star Wars trilogy, and while the kids enjoyed their movies, I enjoyed that jetted tub and a good book.

The one and only picture taken inside the condo this year. But it was just as cool as last year. :)

What we made with our berries:

2 big huckleberry cheese pies, 3 pans of huckleberry crumb bars, and a double batch of huckleberry sour cream muffins..... with 1 1/2 cups of huckleberries to spare.

 By this picture, one pan of crumb bars and many muffins had already been inhaled by my children and Ty.
