March was full of... March.

Spring Break was the end of March, and per usual around here, the whole week was pretty rainy and cold. The kids and I were limited on what we could do, but we did do a few fun things.
-Huckleberry playland at the KROC center
-Chicken picnic and kite flying at the soccer park by Skyway. We had some amazing wind and got all of the kites pretty high up, especially the airplanes. Got them at Costco, really neat ones : a fairy, two different jet planes, a green dragon, a purple dragon, and a parrot. A bit of work, but fun.

-Bri and Lexx had a sleepover next door with Jess and Nicole
-Made caramel rolls
-Went to Skate Plaza. Deacon tried rollerblades, and I rented him a little roller trainer thing. Within an hour he was out doing tricks with it, always looking to make sure I was watching every time he came around, which of course I was. So cute. Isaac tried blades too, and by the end was getting the hang of them pretty well. Levi must have skated in previous lives, he's just a natural at it. The girls skated too, but were checking the clock constantly to see how close we were to leaving so they could head to their sleepover. Braden played DS the whole time, thank the mother for the person who invented those.
-Drank lots of smoothies and nespresso gingerbread lattes.
-Went to Riverstone Park. We found duck eggs, and the kids all loved exploring, finding cool rocks and sticks, and just being outside.
