Holy Snow

I know many of you are seeing the same thing when you look out your windows, but for those who aren't in this area, we have nearly 3 feet of snow in our yard, and it is still coming down. The kids want to go out and play in it, and I'll probably let at least the girls, but I'm a little worried about the boys just being buried in it...

Check out my neighbors, I'm sure they'll appreciate me posting this picture of them, they've been digging out the walk you see them on from their front door to their van and the bit around their van all morning....
Look at the kids standing next to our sliding door looking at the snow level, and there is less here than in the rest of the yard.... it angles up as you look out. Yeah, I don't know that I want to open that door....

Our other neighbor's attempt to drive down our street this morning.... They didn't get too far, they basically pulled out from next to the truck you see in the driveway and plowed into the street a few several feet and couldn't move any further....

Yep it's nuts we are blocked in too wouldn't be able to go anywhere if we wanted to we don't have a car and right now STA is not running buses out in Airway Heights at least I had a legitimate reason to miss work today LOL. Hope you are staying warm and dry.

Wow...ok I really miss home right now. I miss my pine trees. Snow is so exciting to the kids- I bet they are just loving it- I remember as a kid always hoping the electricity could go out- so we could walk around with candles and flashlights.

I know! I have NEVER seen this much snow in my life! I lived in Colorado Springs too when I was little.
We are basically snowed in. Vince has to go shovel again here soon.
Keep warm!
