Friday the 26th was Isaac's 6th birthday.
What a fun boy he is to have in our family! he sure brings a lot of joy into our home.
He is such a sweetheart, so gentle, and sensitive to others' feelings...
...yet such a little Hammy the squirrel with high energy.
He is so funny the way he is really sensitive to smells....the other day he said to Levi, "You can't sit by me, you know why?"...."because you smell like the animal shelter.".....and though I really shouldn't have, I couldn't help laughing.
Well today for him, we had some fun. Isaac helped me make his cake, his request this year was for a "swimming pool" cake. It was pretty fun to make. And then we barbecued for dinner, he wanted hamburgers and cheetoes...
He and the other kids are having a backyard campout tonight, per his request.
Sure love this kid.

Here's his cake. Green dyed coconut grass, blue raspberry jello for water. Big pretzel sticks with green gummy fruit slices stuck on them make great trees. Teddy graham people in chocolate frosting sunglasses and shorts, and gummy bikinis.... airhead taffy's and peach gummy things for floaties and a slide. And squished gummy fruit slices and a candle for the umbrella. A ton of fun to make.

That is the COOLEST cake I have ever seen! You are SOOOO creative girl! Happy birthday to Issac!! I didn't know that we had babies that are only 3 days apart. Such a handsome little man!
The cake turned out amazing!! The details are awesome too, I love the bathing suits on the bears. :) I think the camp out sounds like a really fun family thing to do, I think its cool that Aaron will do that with the kids. What good memories.
WOW that cake was amazing. You are missing your calling girl you should be a cake decorator. Your kids are so lucky to have such a creative caring mom. My idea of a cake would be to either order one from a bakery or slather frosting onto a cake I made from a mix. WOW that turned out really cool.
