ok, you are making me cry. What a sweet post about kittens. In May, our cat had kittens while we were out of town. There were three kittens with her in her bed. We later discovered the little bodies of two more kittens around the garage. It was so sad. Remember all of the cats we lost as kids living on the busy corner? There were many tears. I love the whole story of how you got your cat! Hilarious! You are such a fun mom!
I'm sorry you lost a few but I am so proud of you and Aaron and how you have helped your children handle it. You are right we never know when such lessons will come to us but I am so glad that your children had you and Aaron to turn to for help dealing with their emotions. It's also surprising what a guy can be capable of once in awhile they can sure knock our socks off once in awhile. What a great experience for your daughters that their dad was there to comfort them they will remember that their whole lives I'm sure.

Ah, sorry to hear about the infections and the kittens who didn't make it. That IS sad. :-(
