Bring on the Holidays

Well, as of Monday, the Christmas tree is up.
We put it up the first weekend of November last year and really liked the feeling that the holidays were longer, so we decided to do it again. Makes for a super cozy Thanksgiving dinner too.

And, with so much going on all the time, I admit I like that it's already checked off my list. Just helps make my holidays that much more relaxed and gives me more time for the more important things, like making cookies....
The kids are already loving crawling around under it, pretending it's some kind of secret fortress.
The boys loved helping me go through all the Christmas stuff, and were putting on the santa hats and walking around saying, "Ho Ho Ho and a bottle of rum!"

And I do have a bit of this around as well.... We love you too Thanksgiving.
