I should really be sleeping right now...
But everything is so quiet. The whole house is dim except for the soft glow of my small bedside lamp and the lights on the Christmas tree.
The dishwasher is hum-swish-humming. Every child is sound asleep...
Today we found Mater. He'd been missing.
Levi had a hard time sleeping without him, and a few late nights I woke up to sounds of a burglar breaking in, only to find Levi searching room by room for his beloved blanket.
Turned out we looked everywhere but the oven. I just really didn't think to look for a blanket in the oven. Apparently it's Buggy's new favorite hiding place.
Steven came into town for the weekend, and I actually caught one photo of him as Levi slept soundly on his arm with the newly reunited Mater.
I worked in the Green Room today during the final performance of Aladdin. It was a fun experience, watching behind the scenes and getting to know some of the cast as they came in and out and played games and such while they waited between scenes.
This play was so awesome. Tonight's performance was absolutely perfect. All the kids were really in character and enjoying their parts, and everything just went smooth. The audience was so great too. They laughed and applauded with enthusiasm, and gave a standing ovation at the end.
Now the girls just have their final voice class this week, along with their showcase for that, then we have a nice long break for the holidays.
