October was full of gorgeous color and lots of sunshine for the most part. Can't complain about that!
They're doing voice lessons this term, and were designated as costume crew for the play. They love being part of backstage.
We have officially gained two new members of the family. When we went to take the kittens to their new homes, I sort of caved and decided to keep Cassiopeia. So she is ours, and the kids are thrilled. She and Muffin are fun to have around. I also built them a castle.
Halloween festivities filled much of the month :
The annual sugar cookie frosting and smothering them in candy night...
I made a giant spider piñata.
I felt sort of sorry for my big spider...
Carving pumpkins.... and then turning some of them into pumpkin gingerbread, Mmmm.
Halloween dinner-- spider pizza, mummy dogs, pumpkin gingerbread and hot apple cider...
Look at this Braden kid....stealing food....biting....he's lucky he's so stinkin' cute...
Flashlight scavenger hunt in the dark-- the kids loved this...
The treasure in the end was giant glow sticks (which they used to have star wars fights all night)and silly string...which they all had fun blasting all over the backyard at each other.
Grandma and Grandpa Frostad left these cute trick-or-treat bags that they made for the kids, as well as some goodies-- Thanks you two!!! We love you!
Trick-or-treating... This is a fun neighborhood during the holidays, a lot of our neighbors really get into the decorating spirit. Many were out in their driveways with fire pits lit as they handed out candy and one house had a table set up and gave out cups of hot cocoa. So much fun.

They get to pick 3 a day, the rest go into the chore reward bucket.

Very nice glasses they look great on you glasses have come a long way they aren't as dorky as they used to be. You'll get used to them that's normal I felt that way too when I got my first pair back in the fourth grade. Sounds like a busy crazy but fun month. I'm glad you have the two cats and that is one cool looking castle my cats would be so jealous.

How fun are you! I love the sugar cookies and the pinata! I tried making a pinata and it failed terribly; any tips? Also, I love the spider pizza and mummy hotdogs, next year I will be more fun ;-) after all halloween is my favorite holiday!

Hey! I know exactly where you took that picture of Briah and Lexxi haha, it's the make out spot at the cemetary! It's sad how I know that, but I stumbled upon it while running from security there.. :)
